
CE certification of clay masonry units in accordance with the requirements of the standard EN 771-1: 2011 + A1: 2015 - Specification for masonry units in Kerma plant, Russia
We are glad to announce that after a successful certification audit in Afonino, Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, performed by Dedal’s engineers, the producer OJSC "KERMA" obtained CE certification of their production of clay masonry units in accordance with the requirements of the standard EN 771-1: 2011 + A1: 2015 - Specification for masonry units - Part 1: Clay masonry units.
OJSC "KERMA" is a leading manufacturer of masonry and ceramic cladding in the region and after obtaining the CE certificate the company will also have the right to offer masonry units on the European market, making their conformity to the EN standard recognizable worldwide.
Clay bricks are traditionally recognized sustainable construction material, which offers many benefits:
- high thermal mass and good insulation properties offer high energy efficiency;
- made from natural mineral, recyclable components and thus one of the traditionally proven sustainable construction materials;

A multi-stage factory production control system has been introduced at the Kerma plant, covering all stages of the production process - from incoming control of the raw materials, through inspection during the production process and the final product, storage, and shipment of finished products, making sure that their FPC corresponds to all requirements of the standard EN 771-1: 2011 + A1: 2015.
