First CE certification in the Philippines

We are glad to announce that in March 2020, Dedal and Industrial Welding Corporation (IWC) have successfully completed the initial audit of the Factory Production Control (FPC) of the manufacturer.

Industrial Welding Corporation (IWC) is founded in year 1982, the company has since expanded its production capacity to 2,000 MT/month, thereby becoming the largest welding consumables manufacturer in the Philippines. With a quality driven approach, IWC produces for both, domestic and international markets, exporting to over 50 countries around the world in regions such as North America, South America, Europe, Middle East, and Southeast Asia. 
IWC manufactures a wide variety of welding consumables – ranging from stick electrodes, TIG consumables, MIG consumables, to flux cored-wire.

The completed CE certification is according to the following standards:

EN 13479:2017 - Welding consumables - General product standard for filler metals and fluxes for fusion welding of metallic materials 
EN ISO 2560:2009 - Welding consumables - Covered electrodes for manual metal arc welding of non-alloy and fine grain steels
EN ISO 1071:2015 - Welding consumables - Covered electrodes, wires, rods and tubular cored electrodes for fusion welding of cast iron
EN ISO 3581:2016 - Welding consumables - Covered electrodes for manual metal arc welding of stainless and heat-resisting steels

The CE certified products are:

  • covered electrodes for manual metal arc welding of non-alloy and fine grain steels;
  • covered electrodes;
  • wires;
  • rods and tubular cored electrodes for fusion welding of cast iron;
  • covered electrodes for manual metal arc welding of stainless and heat-resisting steels.
